TE Connectivity SOLISTRAND STRATO-THERM Heat Resistant Standard Butt Splices
SOLISTRAND STRATO-THERM standard type heat resistant butt splice crimp terminals for use where operating temperatures prevent standard insulated crimps being used. These STRATO-THERM heat resistant butt splice crimp terminals are made from nickel plated electrolytic copper and are designed to terminate solid and/or stranded conductors. When the terminal is crimped the wire inside is forced into the serrations or dimples of the barrel to maximise the electrical contact area after crimping.The maximum operating temperature for these STRATO-THERM heat resistant standard butt splice crimp terminals is 343°C (650°F).
