Microchips MIC2930 low dropout regulator is a high accuracy, high current regulator. MIC2930 uses Microchips 'Super Beta PNP' process with a PNP pass element. This regulator features 350mV to 425mV typical dropout voltages and a low ground current. Not to mention, the MIC2930 also has a 1% accurate tolerance and an extremely fast transient response.
