Megger MIT 400 mk2 Series Insulation & Continuity Testers

Meggers MIT400/2 Series of insulation and continuity testers are designed for testing electrical installation and specialist applications where accurate, reliable and safe testing is essential. Combining the latest range of measurement techniques with new instrument design to provide a state-of-the-art tester that is compact and comfortable to hold. Featuring a redesigned case, back-stand and 6 cell battery compartment with separate fuse access. All instruments are over-moulded for increased protection and achieve an IP54 weatherproof rating, providing an almost indestructible case.

All primary results are displayed in the larger digital display and repeated on the analogue arc. Auxiliary test information such as frequency, leakage current, insulation or circuit voltage is displayed in the smaller secondary digital display. A variable range has been added to allow any intermediate voltage from 50 V to 1000 V in 10 V steps. Where application- specific test voltages are required that do not appear in the standard ranges.
Continuity testing is now faster, a single auto-ranging 0.01 Ω to 1.0 MΩ function replaces the "ohms" and "k ohms" ranges. Retained are the 200 mA and 20 mA test options.

Typical Applications include:- Manufacturing/production line goods, electrostatic measurement, component testing, battery powered traction and letting equipment, commercial avionics and military land, marine and air communications.

Hard carry case complete with red/black silicone test lead set with probes, 1 red & 1 black crocodile clip, information CD and 6 x AA Alkaline Batteries
