Skintop SM-PE Cable Gland Locknuts
From Lapp, this Skindicht SM-PE-M Series counter nut is for use with Skindicht EMC graded cable glands. It attaches to the cable gland to ensure a secure connection in pre-drilled bore holes. It also has a secondary function in that in has a cutting edge that cuts through the insulating layer of the attached cable, so that optimum contact is assured. This makes it ideal for applications where EMC and protection against signal interference is a concern.
The lock nut also has a robust nickel plated brass construction, and will ensure the gland attaches firmly, even on lacquered, anodized or powder coated panel surfaces.
