Cree XLamp XQ-D Series LEDs
As Cree’s smallest lighting class LEDs, the XLamp XQ-D series offers high power and reliability within a footprint of just 1.6mm³. Instead of the light being emitted centrally, the XQ-D LED’s light pattern directs the light to the edge of the device. This technology allows for these light emitting diodes (LEDs) to be used in smaller quantities than standard LEDs to achieve an equally wide, distributed light pattern, making them ideal for omnidirectional lamps and fixtures. The XLamp XQ-D LED series uses Cree’s silicon carbide based LED chips (SC3 technology) to deliver high performance and efficiency within a compact ceramic based LED device.
