FunctionMAX FX18 Series 0.8 mm High Speed Board to Board Connectors

FunctionMAX FX18 Series 0.8 mm high-speed board to board connectors for coplanar, vertical and stacking mating styles. These FunctionMAX FX18 0.8 mm BTB connectors have a high-speed transmission capability of up to 10 Gbit/s and support PCI - Express Ver. 2.0. These FX18 connectors feature advanced multifunctional contacts which consist of ground contacts, power supply contacts and 3-step sequential contacts. The ground contacts provide enhanced grounding properties and are positioned next to the differential pair contacts to reduce cross talk. The power supply contacts offer up to 3A per pin which means the signal contacts are not used for power purposes. This feature reduces the pin count and enables space saving. A total of 12A can be used. The 3-step sequential contacts are set back in different positions in the housing and provide grounding and detection. These FX18 board to board connectors also feature six through hole pins for increased PCB retention and resistance to wrenching forces. The FX18 headers also feature large mating guides to assist with mating to the receptacle.
