BM70 Bluetooth Smart 4.2 BLE PICtail/PICtail Plus Daughter Board

This Microchip PICtail/PICtail Plus Daughter Board is a tool for users to investigate the BM70 Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy (BTLE/BLE) Module. Users can develop the board directly via USB utilising the BM70 development software. The PICtail/PICtail Plus connector allows the board to interface with Microcontroller development platforms such as the Explorer 16 (DM240001) and Explorer 8 (DM160228).

The featured BM70 has an integrated Bluetooth software stack and a built-in antenna. UART, SPI and I2C communications are supported to provide an interface for a host MCU and other external peripheral devices. Also on-board is a 12-bit ADC and PWM module.
