0.5A Step-Down Switching Regulator TSR 0.5SM Series

The Tracopower TSR 0.5SM series of step-down switching regulators are drop-in replacement for inefficient LM78 linear regulators. These DC-DC converters have a high efficiency up to 97%, which allows full load operation up to +80°C (+90°C with 50% load) ambient temperature without the need of forced cooling. The TSR 0.5SM switching regulators provide other significant features over linear regulators, i.e. excellent output voltage accuracy and lower standby current. The high efficiency and low standby power consumption makes these regulators an ideal solution for many battery powered applications.
