mTouch Capacitive Touch Development Kit

The Microchip mTouch Development Kit is a flexible platform with which various Capacitive Sensing applications can be investigated and developed. The featured mTouch firmware demonstrates moisture resistance and noise immunity.

The included Sensor Array incorporates five Capacitive Touch Buttons of varying sizes and a proximity sensor with which a working demonstration can simply be set up. This array is easy to detach and can be replaced with different sensor types as desired.

The kit is configured and analysed using the free to download Microchip Dawn Graphical User Interface. The host PC connects to the kit via USB, utilising the included MCP2221 Breakout Module.
