Wurth REDCUBE Power Elements - Screw Terminals with 2 Row Pin Plate
REDCUBE screw terminal type power elements with a 2-row pin plate configuration for transferring high currents of up to approximately 300 A onto PCB. These screw terminals have a rugged construction and are made from copper zinc alloy with a surface material of copper with tin plating. The key feature of these power elements is the use of press fit technology which produces an environmentally stable gas tight electrical connection to the PCB. Press fit mounting produces a high retention force to the PCB which is more secure than solder or screw connections and resistant to vibration and shock. Using press fit mounting eliminates the need for soldering which subjects the PCB to thermal loads. These screw terminal power elements are easily integrated into the production processing using simple press fit tooling. The use of press fit connections therefore makes these power elements highly reliable and cost effective to use.
