Hardness Testers are hand-held devices used to measure the depth of hard materials. These testers have adaptable material menus, so you can select the programme prior to use. To operate press the indenter on the object being measured this will compress an internal spring which measure the bounce rate and converts to a measurement unit (HB, HL, HRB, HRC, HV, MPa).
